Tamara Stegeman - Lead Vet
Dr. Tamara is a passionate and dedicated veterinarian who graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004 with first-class honours. Her commitment to continuing education and staying current with the latest veterinary practices allows her to deliver the highest standard of care, working closely with her clients to create tailored treatment plans that achieve the best outcomes for both pets and their families. Tamara has a keen interest in complex medical cases, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, preventative care, and geriatric medicine. She is especially dedicated to preventative care, ensuring our furry family members live long, healthy, and prosperous lives. Whether it’s helping a senior pet live their golden years in comfort or solving a tricky medical puzzle, she’s all about providing compassionate, high-quality care that makes tails wag and purrs abound.
Outside of work, Dr. Tamara is a family-oriented individual who enjoys spending time with her loved ones. She is a proud pet owner to two cats, Vegemite and Ember, and a playful miniature schnauzer named Astrid. Her personal interests include scuba diving, traveling to new destinations, and camping. She values her time with friends, constantly seeking out new adventures and cherishing the memories they create together.
