Why do I need to vaccinate my pet?
Like all family members, pets need vaccinating to help keep them well and healthy. Vaccinations help protect our pets from nasty diseases, some of which are life-threatening. Puppies and kittens usually require a course of 3 vaccinations starting at 6- 8 weeks of age to provide them with immunity against these diseases and then annual boosters to maintain their protection. If you pet needs to go into a boarding facility they will be require to be up to date with their vaccinations.
During your pets vaccination appointment the vet will carryout a complete and thorough examination of your pet to make sure they are healthy to be vaccinated and will discuss the best vaccination plan for your pets lifestyle.
